So a little update...sadly on Easter morning coyotes and or an owl took the rest of my chickens. It was the second time in two weeks that we left the coop open on accident. Both times the predators took advantage and now we only have one meat chicken left. I named her "Ranger"...because she is so "Lone" :) But on a happy note I just ordered 15 Brown Legged Leghorns and will receive chicks for the very first time...by mail. :) We had a blessed Easter.  Family over and then friends. It ended on a note of singing hymns around our piano and many happy goodbyes. Thank you Sweet Lord for the peaceful ending to your beautiful day. :)
