Success with the jigsaw ... Chickens happily watered now


Starting with hammer and nail...I soon discovered how hard it was to get the hole big enough to insert the drip spout. I ended up using my jig saw to cut a small "t" in the bucket and then wrapped the spouts with caulking tape to keep them from leaking water. The chicken "waterer" worked smoothly. I added a broken garlic oil capsule to the water to keep my chicks bug free. The garlic wards off mosquitoes and fleas. They are inside for the time being but as soon as their coop is built I plan on transferring them outside and wanted to have the garlic in their system before hand. :)
