It was the most amazing thing to participate in. I felt honored and excited that our goat (who has always thought she was a human) let me help deliver her babies. I didn't know exactly what to do so I prayed and gently coaxed the sac out of the momma without putting pressure on the baby. Cream was a little stuck and came out front legs and head first. Peaches was easier. His back legs came out first and then his big body and head. Both coughed and breathed right away as I rubbed off the mucus from their sweet faces with a towel. It was exhilarating to see new lives enter the world. I felt like I was the momma! Creamy Dreamy Apple Pie cleaned them up for over and hour and loving comforted them with a soft tone in her voice. I am so glad to have these sweet animals. :)
